Do you have lightly used, clean clothes that you no longer wear? Career
Services is collecting donations to build a Career Closet which will be open
to students in Spring of 2025!
Last April we Career Services hosted a wildly successful clothing drive to
begin to build materials for our Career Closet. We were lucky to receive over
500 pieces of clothing! To provide comprehensive clothing options for
everyone, we are asking for more traditionally “men’s” professional clothing!
What is a Career Closet?
The Career Closet will be a place where students can find new and gently
used professional attire for interviews, networking events, everyday wear for
jobs, and more. The goal of the Career Closet is to remove financial barriers
that may prevent students from looking and feeling their best during the
internship and job search process.
What Should You Bring?
From business casual to professional attire, we welcome all types of clothing
donations suitable for work in every industry! We are looking specifically for
full, neutral-colored suits, slacks, ties, belts, loafers, etc. Please see the
next page for donation guidelines.
Drop off your clothing donations on the 6th Floor of the Rasmuson Library in
the drop-box from Monday, December 9th to Friday, December 13th, 2024.
